Mericq has partnered with the premium shellfish specialist Wildomar, renowned for its expertise and product quality. An expert in sourcing clams (Japanese and European clams) and other shellfish (mussels, cockles, varnish clams, clams, razors, tellins, etc.), the company varies and carefully selects its sourcing areas according to strict criteria, from southern Portugal to northern France. Wildomar receives the shellfish and applies its unique know-how, which has earned it a strong reputation over the years, to guarantee consistent, unmatched product quality: each shellfish is hand-sorted, graded, and packed.

Mericq has established long-term partnerships with fishers and producers to offer its clients a seasonal range of shellfish: oysters (from Normandy, Brittany, Marennes Oléron, the Mediterranean…), scallops, Bouchot mussels, cockles, clams, razor clams, clams, sea almonds, sea urchins…
Cooked or frozen shellfish
In addition to live or raw products, Mericq offers its clients cooked shellfish (whelks and periwinkles) or frozen products (scallops…). Our workshops are equipped with tools to select shellfish destined for boiling in seawater, providing an additional service to our clients.
